Our infrared heated room has many health benefits such as: improved blood circulation, muscle relaxation, blood and body detox (your in for a sweaty one!), mood and stress relief and much more!
THERAPY ATHLETICA currently offers 4 regular class types. All class types bring the spice, good music, even better company and a variety of class plans.
As THERAPY ATHLETICA grows, so will the amount of classes on offer! We have a lot planned for the upcoming future!
CLASS TYPES:
DND + DNB
DND: this is our Do Not Disturb class.
Class rundown sheet: DND is a perfect option for members who are looking to find that deeper mind- body connection with a side of spice. DND is in a calm, focused, hot environment where mellow, chilled music will be found to guide you through 45 minutes of therapy!
Think: slow morning routine or evening wind down, sweat, mellow, stability and alignment, controlled movements, pilates princess, activation and focus to maintain form and as always, great company.
Artists you may hear appear in this class: iilliaa, Chet faker, Fred Again, Rhianna, The Neighbourhood, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Coldplay and many more, you get the vibe!
DNB: this is our Drum and Bass inspired class.
Class rundown sheet: DNB is high energy, high vibes and inspired heavily by Drum and Bass. Perfect for a therapy session where you need to let off steam or drip in sweat - to some much loved upbeat music. Our DNB class has more intense core activation, more challenging layers (if you wish to attempt) and is a loud class, with great people!
Think: wake up and smash the day or/ and 45 minutes of letting out steam (because Karen upset you in the office today). Think spicy, stamina, endurance, more layers, more activations, more sweat.
Artists you may hear appear in this class: Peekaboo, Chase & Status, Stormzy, Hedex, Rudimental, Sub Focus, Flowdan, Dom Dolla, Central Cee, Dizzee Rascal, Skepsis, Hannah Laing, Luude and many more, you get the vibe!
All classes will have a variety of class plans, therefore you will not be doing the same class every time - the class you do tomorrow will differ from the next day!
Strength and serve: A class for members that would like to build mental and physical strength to help themselves and others. In this 45 minute class, you will work through strength blocks with a side of balance and coordination. This class serves as a mental reminer that you are strong, capable and worthy. Who said girls cant defend the front line? come move to artists such as Rihanna, Spice girls, Fergie, The Pussycat Dolls, Destiny's Child, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande ect.
Mums and mini movers: a class for mums and bubs.
A class that is structured to work through movements that feel good for the body, with your little ones company. This class is a laid back class where you can pause, talk to other individuals or just simply enjoy a mat pilates class with your pram and essentials close by as your little one naps, interacts or just observes. This gentle, no-heat mat Pilates session encourages you to enjoy movement while incorporating principles of social, cognitive, and developmental psychology.
No prior Pilates experience is needed, and there’s no pressure for perfection—this is your time to move, breathe, and connect with yourself, your little one and others.
Please note that mums and bubs class is limited to half the amount of spots compared to a regular full class. This is so prams have space, bubs can have a mat if wanted (please bring a blanket or play mat), toys can be found and movement can be made!
Your little one is included in your class pass or your membership fee for this session.
